Doctor's Formulas B-Complex 120 tabs - B-complex vitamins
Dietary supplement containing B-complex vitamins , inositol and para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA).
These components contribute:
- to the normal functioning of metabolic processes are intended for energy production,
- to protect cells from oxidative stress
- to reduce fatigue and tiredness.
Vitamins B
- B1 (thiamine): is the essential coenzyme for carbohydrate metabolism but also for the production of acetylcholine.
- B2 riboflavin: is a precursor to coenzyme A after being first converted to its bioactive form (riboflavin 5-phosphate) for use by the body.
- Vitamin B2: in the form of riboflavin 5-phosphate serves as a component of additive groups (FAD and FMN) of flavoproteins that take part in oxidation-reduction reactions in numerous metabolic as well as in energy production through the respiratory chain.
- B3 (niacin): is a precursor to coenzyme A and plays an important role in energy transfer reactions for the metabolism of sugars, fats and alcohol.
- B5 (pantothenic acid): is a precursor to the production of coenzyme A needed for the metabolism of many molecules such as amino acids, fatty acids, phospholipids, etc. .§
- B6 (pyridoxine): in the form of pyridoxine 5 phosphate is an important coenzyme for decarboxylation (deamination of amino acids, eg 5-hydroxy-tryptophan into serotonin, coenzyme in transaminase reactions (the body gets the essential amino acids).
- B9 (folic acid): interacts with B12 to make the DNA for all cells of the body.
- B12 (methylcobalamin): which is its active form, is the essential coenzyme for the processing of carbohydrates, proteins and fats & nbsp ; and participates in erythropoiesis. It is also needed for the maintenance of nerve sheaths.
- B8 (inositol): second messenger, but also a dominant component of cell membrane phospholipids involved in many biological processes.
