Sun protection for children is very important. infant - child skin needs special care  as it is thinner and its defense system is not developed enough. However, sunscreens with indices lower than 6 should not be preferred. A sunscreen with an index of 25 absorbs 96% of UVB radiation. Indices 6 - 10 offer low protection, 15 - 25 moderate and 30 - 50 high protection.
