Licorice is a widespread plant in Asia and Europe. It originates from Southwest Asia and Southeastern Europe and specifically from Italy, Spain and Persia, while it is now widely cultivated all over the world. In Greece, it is found naturally in the region of Macedonia but also in other regions.

Now Foods Licorise Root contains 450mg of licorice root, which contains glycyrrhizin, a substance 50-60 times sweeter than common granulated sugar. Licorice contains sterols, flavonoids, polysaccharides, coumarin and asparagine. In addition, it contains glycyrrhizic acid, combined with calcium and magnesium salts, as well as steroid hormones (phytoestrogens).

It is traditionally used to treat gastrointestinal diseases, and is also considered a traditional method of treating the symptoms of asthma, dry cough and chest pain.

Returns

-In case of non-defective product, this can be returned if:
