Folic Acid 400_g by Lamberts contains folic acid, which participates in the synthesis of DNA and RNA of cells playing a decisive role in cell proliferation. For this reason it is particularly important for the development of the fetus. Has it has now been documented that taking 400μg of folic acid during the first trimester of pregnancy is necessary to prevent neural tube defects. Folic acid is known to play an important role in regulating levels of homocysteine, a component with a chemical structure similar to an amino acid, involved in in the damage of the vascular endothelium and which may later lead to the formation of atheromatous plaques.

Returns
