Solgar Ester-C is an innovative non-acidic form of vitamin C with integrated: citrate bioflavonoid complex, acerola, rosehip berries, rutin and the naturally occurring vitamin C metabolites: L-threonic, L-lyxonic and L-xylonic acid.

The metabolites help the vitamin enter the bloodstream faster, in greater amounts and with less loss resulting in Solgar's Ester-C being absorbed about four times longer, activates twice as fast and stays in circulation twice as long as regular vitamin C.

In addition, the metabolites of Ester-C help the vitamin penetrate the white blood cells more effectively. White blood cells, as you know, require high levels of vitamin C for their metabolism.
