Alfashield Sterile Paraffin Gauzes are high quality sterile paraffin gauze dressings, intended for the protection and treatment of wounds and injuries. In addition to protecting the wounds, they also aim to fill and drain them, preventing adhesion between gauze and wound.
They are cut, folded and available in individually packages-envelopes, which are made of special medical paper and are designed to be opened with safety and convenience (peel open). Each folder has a number batch, its sterilization date and its expiry date product. They are completely friendly to any type of skin and do not stick to the wound to cause unbearable pain during their removal.

They are suitable for:

Light and heavier burns
Coverage of donor and recipient skin graft sites
Wounds of loss of skin
Extensive abrasions or injuries
Leg ulcers

How to Apply:
1. Clean your hands before touching the wound.
2. Gently dry the wound and the around area.
3. Remove the gauze from the envelope.
4.Remove both packing papers from the gauze. (A quantity of paraffin will remain on the packing papers)
5. Gently place the gauze over the wound.
6. If necessary, cover the gauze with an absorbent pad.
7. Secure the gauze with adhesive tape or a bandage.
Caution!
The product can be used once and cannot be sterilized again.
Do not use if package is open or damaged.
See your doctor if the wound becomes infected.

Shipments in the city of Volos:
- For orders less than €19.00 the transport costs are only €2.50 and there is no extra cost in cash payment.
- For orders over €19.00 and regardless of weight, shipping costs are free.
Shipments throughout Greece:
- For orders less than € 39.00 and up to 5kg weight (volumetric or real) shipping costs are from 2.70€ and in in case the payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fixed charge from 1.00€.
- For orders larger than € 39.00 up to € 48.99 and up to 5kg weight (volumetric or real) shipping costs are free of charge and in case the payment method is cash on delivery, there is an additional fixed charge from 0.60€.
- For orders from € 49.00 and up and up to 5kg weight (volumetric or real) shipping is completely free of charge payment method.
- For orders over 5kg and regardless of the amount there are costs volumetric measurements which amount to € 0.60 for each additional kilo.

Returns
-In case of any product defect found upon receipt, we undertake immediate replacement without any additional financial burden to the customer, as soon as we are notified either by phone (0030 2421084400) or by e-mail ( [email protected] ) or via Facebook message ( https://www.facebook.com/pharmnet .gr ).

-In case of non-defective product, this can be returned if:

a) The date of receipt of your order with the date of submission of the application for return should not exceed 10 calendar days,

b) the packaging has not been tampered with and is in its original condition. (In this case the customer is charged with the shipping costs.)

For reasons of hygiene and protection of our customers it is not possible to return non-defective refrigerators, baby food and milk as well as changes are not accepted in socks, tights, bandages, used electronic devices and orthopedic items.
In each of the 2 cases in order for the return to be accepted, the product must be accompanied by the order receipt.
