The truth is that our face needs specialized care. The skin of our face is more sensitive and the harmful effects of the sun become obvious on it over time: freckles, premature aging, dehydration. Facial sunscreens are designed to protect against the sun and photoaging.

But we must know that the protection offered by all sunscreen products is only effective in relation to the SPF index (Sun Protection Factor) they contain. The sun protection factor, or SPF, represents the degree of protection offered by a cosmetic product in terms of UVB ultraviolet radiation. It starts at zero and goes up to 50 or more. A face sunscreen with an index of 30 absorbs 97% of UVB radiation. Indices 6 - 10 offer low protection, 15 - 25 medium and 30 - 50 high protection.
