Life Extension's Bone Restore provides three different forms of calcium, along with magnesium, boron, zinc, silicon, manganese, vitamin D3 and K2 needed for bone health.
As we age, we lose some of our bone density. Bone loss is not only associated with calcium deficiency, but also with inadequate intake of a range of other nutrients including magnesium and vitamin D3. For calcium to help maintain healthy bones, it must adequate amounts of vitamin D3, zinc, magnesium, manganese, and other nutrients are available. In addition, many forms of calcium are not very well absorbable.
A plethora of human clinical studies reveal that vitamin K plays a critical role in maintaining healthy bone density by facilitating the transport of calcium from the bloodstream into bone. Inadequate levels of vitamin K lead to increased levels of circulating hypocarboxylated osteocalcin which appears to be associated with increased bone loss in postmenopausal women.
Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) is found in meat, eggs and dairy products and is also made by bacteria in the gut.

How To Use:
- Four capsules a day, two capsules in the morning and two capsules in the evening with food
