Diaper Change - Nappy Rash

How will you avoid the nappy rash?

Diaper rash or diaper rash is the most common problem in infants and usually occurs in the first 12 months. It is caused by moisture, the pH of the baby's skin, topical chemicals irritants such as ammonia, friction as well as fungi, microbes etc.

The rash is usually red and scaly, and sometimes bright red ulcers form. In this case the skin irritation is in an advanced form and needs therapeutic medication.

To protect sensitive areas from chafing, it is very important to keep the diaper area clean and dry. However, in the event that your baby develops redness due to colic, it is advisable to use a soothing and anti-irritant cream that will restore the irritated skin and enhance its regeneration.

Aveeno, Frezyderm, Bepanthol, Sudocrem, Weleda, A-derma, Mustela, Chicco etc. offer quality and safe products!
