Also, according to the official reports of BHP (British HerbaI Pharmacopoeia), the plant is recommended for topical use in nasopharyngeal runny nose.

It contributes significantly to the defense of the human body against infections caused by viruses, germs, fungi, etc. The effect of zinc in treating the common cold is particularly beneficial.
