Watch out for the sun

Sunburn is acute damage to the skin that has been excessively exposed to the sun. It is caused by ultraviolet radiation (UV-B) which penetrates the skin. The extent of sunburn depends on skin type, duration of sun exposure and intensity of solar radiation.
